Description
The 1967–1972 Chevrolet C10 generation remains one of the most celebrated truck platforms in American automotive history, and for good reason. Clean, wide-body proportions, a comfortable cab, and an honest simplicity of design have made these Action Line trucks perennial favorites among collectors and custom builders alike. The stepside bed configuration adds a further layer of visual distinction, emphasizing the truck’s rear fenders and giving it a leaner, more purposeful stance than the standard fleetside. Decades after production ended, demand for well-built C10 examples shows no signs of slowing.
This stepside received a comprehensive frame-off restoration that addressed every system of the truck from the ground up. The exterior wears Dark Blue two-stage paint over a tastefully modified body that incorporates custom fiberglass wheel tubs, capped wipers, a color-keyed tonneau cover, and custom taillights — all contributing to a cohesive, low-slung presence that balances hot rod sensibility with the C10’s inherent character. Polished door handles, period-correct grille details, and a branded tailgate preserve the truck’s authentic identity throughout.
Under the hood, a 350 cubic inch GM crate V8 has been fully dressed and detailed in a body-matched engine bay, breathing through a Holley 4-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock intake with coated headers and a billet serpentine drive. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission delivers power to a 12-bolt rear axle, while the chassis rides on a C-notched frame with a Mustang II front clip, tubular truck arm rear suspension, and a fully adjustable air ride system — giving the truck the ability to sit precisely where it looks best. Power rack-and-pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes round out a chassis package that drives as cleanly as it presents.
Inside, leather bucket seating and a convertible jump seat share space with a padded painted dash, Vintage Air climate control, Auto Meter instrumentation, and Pioneer audio in a cockpit that feels deliberate and well-considered. Billet accents, bowtie-branded floor mats, and quality wiring throughout reflect the same attention to detail found across the rest of the build. On polished 20-inch Coys wheels, this C10 stepside combines the timeless appeal of one of America’s favorite classic trucks with the comfort and capability of a thoroughly modern build — and just 3,597 miles on the clock since completion.
